Terms of service — the deal, in plain English.
Last updated: November 4, 2026.
The short version: Research Insiders is a free job board and referral toolkit. We point you to real openings and real people; you stay responsible for your applications and your messages. The service comes as-is, we promise honesty rather than outcomes, and "free" is part of the deal — we can't sell you a subscription because there isn't one.
The service
Research Insiders aggregates job listings from employers' public career pages, pairs them with people who publicly work there, and gives you tools — a plan builder, message drafts, a tracker, salary data — to make a warm approach instead of a cold application. It's an information service. We are not an employer, a recruiter, a staffing agency, or your agent, and nothing here creates an employment relationship with anyone.
Your account
Sign-in is optional and runs through Google. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure (we never hold your password) and for activity under your sign-in. Give us accurate information when it matters — like a removal request — and we'll do the same for you.
Job listings and employers
- Where listings come from. Employers' own public career pages and, where available, postings employers submit directly. We re-check listings every night and drop the ones that disappear.
- We don't vouch for them. Titles, salaries, and descriptions belong to the employers. We link out to the employer's own site to apply. If a listing is wrong, the employer's page is the truth and ours is stale until the next check.
- No outcomes promised. We improve your odds — the published research on referrals finds candidates hired through them substantially more often than cold applicants — but we guarantee nothing: not interviews, not offers, not referrals actually happening.
- If you post jobs with us: your postings must be accurate, lawful, non-discriminatory, and yours to post. We can decline or remove any listing, and we'll tell you why when we do.
The people on this site
People shown on our pages are drawn from public records (see the privacy policy for exactly which ones). They don't endorse you or us by being listed. The rules are simple: use the message tools respectfully, don't spam people, don't harass anyone, don't misrepresent who you are, and don't scrape or resell our people data. We will restrict accounts that do.
Acceptable use
Browse freely; don't abuse freely. No automated scraping of the site, no reselling our listings or data as a product, no probing for security holes, and no republishing our salary aggregates or guides without permission. Fair use with attribution — like quoting a salary page in a blog post with a link — is welcome.
Our content and other people's trademarks
The site's words, guides, salary math, and code are ours, © 2026, all rights reserved. Product and organization names you'll see — Veeva, GlobalSubmit, Lorenz, ACRP, SoCRA, and every employer — are their owners' trademarks, used descriptively to help people find relevant jobs. Research Insiders isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.
Salary and data honesty
Our salary numbers come from the live postings we index — a small, fresh sample, not a census. Read them as honest direction, not a promise of your paycheck.
Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of any kind — fitness, accuracy, availability, non-infringement. If we mess up, our aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the service, which — since it's free — is zero dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't let us limit.
Changes to the terms
We may update these terms as the product grows; the current version always lives at this URL with the date at the top. If a change is a big deal, we'll say so on the site rather than just editing quietly.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the service is operated by Secure Success Launch LLC. Those two facts used to be blanks on this page; leaving them open until they weren't was the right call, and now they're filled.
